Cosmo Release: 0.1

Thank you for your interest in the 0.1 release of Cosmo.

We hope that this release of Cosmo will give you a flavor of Cosmo's architecture and APIs, and a glimse of what Cosmo will do in the future.

Please note that Cosmo is still in its extremely early stages, with only a very limited set of capabilities.

Please also understand that our underlying database is undergoing massive changes at the moment. What we're using now will not be what we use in the future. This means that you should not store important information in Cosmo yet.

Distribution

Note Cosmo will currently run on all modern *nix systems, but has only been tested on Linux and OS X. Windows support is not presently an option but is planned.

Download Cosmo-0.1.tar.gz to a directory on your computer. The tarball contains everything you need to run Cosmo, i.e. it comes with a full Tomcat installation. Future distributions will come with the option of having Cosmo be installed as a webapp.

Instructions for installing Cosmo can be found inside the tarball by reading the INSTALL documention.
